Quezon Island

The biggest and the most developed island in the Hundred Islands is Quezon Island. It is named after the late President Manuel L. Quezon of which a commemorative statue for his honor sits on top of the island. It is not only the biggest island but the most crowded as well. So after eating in one of their picnic tables and wandering around the island for about an hour, we decided to find our own isolated island to spend the day with.

But before going to the next island, here are some shots taken at the Quezon Island:

A footbridge connecting Quezon Island with a smaller island.

The place offers several cemented cottages mostly for overnight tourists.

ayos ah! tlagang may footbridge?

maganda ang winding stairs between rocks.

lawstude rocks!

Lawstude said...

@ nanay belen - totoo po lalo na pag malakas ang hangin. pero mababaw lang naman babagsakan eh mga 6 feet lang.

@ selerines - its my pleasure to share the beauty of my country. other than our corrupt politicians, the Philippines is also famous for its beautiful sceneries.

i remember this island. the most crowded yet one of the best among all the other islands.

i like it there because of the really good sand quality.

i only didn't like much to snorkel there because of the sea grass.

mukhang maganda, wala pa kasi nagsasabi saken na maganda hundred islands, hehehe

We always go to pangasinan every month dati... pero lagi sa manaoag at dream ko makapunta sa hundred islands. =(

Dakilang Islander said...

curious lang, may mga taong nakatira ba dyan sa hundred islands or for tourist lang talaga? parang gusto kong humingi kay arroyo ng isang isla kahit maliit lang...heheh pwd kaya yun

Lawstude said...

@ ced - hayaan mo doc pag graduate mo ililibot kita. mamili la sa mga napuntahan ko hehehe.

Lawstude said...

@ kris jasper - too bad pasukan na. tag-ulan na nga eh.

Lawstude said...

@ digital polaroids - yeah. i guess i am luckt to have a job that enables me to travel a lot.

Lawstude said...

@ GMG - thank you, but you teake care now. traveling could really take a lot of toll in our body. travel safe.

Lawstude said...

@ pensucks - wala pang 5 hours away from manila to so pwedeng pwede mo puntahan.

Lawstude said...

@ the dong - i think matagal pa bago makarecover ang pangasinan sa ginawa nilang dynamite at cyanide fishing. sirang-sira talaga mga corals nila eh. anyway, at least the local government is doing something about it by prohibiting that kind of fishing now.

Lawstude said...

@ ely - maganda hundred islands parekoy. balik nga uli ako doon next week eh.

Lawstude said...

@ tentay - i love to visit manaoag. doon ako nagpray when i passed the bar eh.

Lawstude said...

@ dakilang islander - i think its uninhabited. kasi sa quezon island hinintay pa namin yung tao para magbayad ng fee eh. galing pa daw lucap yun.

may mga nakita nga ako for sale doon eh. hayaan o itatanong ko.
