This is my 200th post. So, let me pause from my travelin' posts and treat myself with the sight of my current crush - Sawaka Kawashima of Team Japan in the 2nd season of the hit AXN reality show Amazing Race Asia.
Sawaka is a 28-year old singer, songwriter and interpreter from Tokyo, Japan. She grew up in Mexico and studied in the US. She speaks English, Spanish, Japanese and a little bit of Chinese. And if you happen to watch the first two episodes of the show, you could hear her talk a little bit of Tagalog too like "salamat" at "bilis". A linguist who loves adventure and travel, with beauty and brains to match. So can you blame me if I adore her?
These pics were scanned from the December issue of Maxim-Philippines (Thank You Maxim). Where a brief interview with the amazing Sawaka was made. Sawaka revealed that she loves adventure and extreme activities and that she always wanted to be on a reality show. She is a singer and joining the show will enable her to spread her music because her dream is to be a world-famous singer serving as a bridge between different countries and to conduct charity concerts and work around the world. She represents Team Japan with his younger brother Daichi.
In the first two episodes of the show, she wound up in the lower half of the pack but I do hope that she and her brother do well because their team is the complete contrast of the chaotic characters of the other teams. Eventhough it is race, I like her cool propensity on how the game shuld be played 'coz in the end, it is still just a game.

Hi All. don't be too Jealous, but I'll get to see Sawaka next week (april 16th, '08). She's an old friend of mine from tokyo. we used to sing together. If I get some good pics of her i'll try to post if for you.
